When you’re unwell, it often seems that life revolves around your illness – including the food you eat. Maybe symptoms or side effects mean you’ve lost your appetite or find it difficult to eat. Perhaps you’re being given unappetising ‘hospital food’ or nutritional drinks that taste more of chemicals than real ingredients. Or you just need an easy way to get extra energy and nourishment. That’s where we can help.

You’ll find advice on eating well when you have specific health conditions, such as cancer, dementia and heart disease. There are tips to help if you have an eating challenge, such as swallowing issues. Plus, easy recipes to nourish your body and life.

Jane Clarke


I’ve been a dietitian for more than 30 years and run a specialist cancer and dementia nutrition practice in London. I believe that food nourishes your life, not just your body. My mission is to empower you at a difficult time and find solutions together for the eating challenges caused by illness.

Andreas Wingert


I trained as a chef in Germany and worked for 15 years in high-end restaurants across Europe, before joining a hospital group as Executive Head Chef. This is where I developed a passion for providing great-tasting food that improves the wellbeing of the most vulnerable.

Our home

The Nourish Studio, in the grounds of Grittleton House in Chippenham, Wiltshire, is a warm, welcoming space where you can gather around the kitchen table, meet Jane and learn how to cook delicious, nutritious recipes.
