Seasonal smoothies
Here are some great ideas to help you get the most from delicious British produce when it’s in season.

Method
- Combine all of the ingredients into a blender and process until smooth.
- Serve chilled or over ice.
Ingredients
Spring smoothie
- 1 frozen banana, thawed
- 1 tablespoon honey (or rice syrup)
- 1 tablespoon almond butter
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- generous dollop of yoghurt
- 300ml milk
Summer smoothie
- Handful each of blackcurrants, raspberries and blueberries
- 1 skinned and sliced peach (loosen the skin by dipping the peach in boiling water and peel it off)
- scoop of kiwi & pineapple sorbet
- splash of apple juice
Autumn smoothie
- 1⁄2 small fennel bulb
- 2 pears
- 1 apple
- bunch of fresh mint
Winter smoothie
- spoonful of fruit compote
- 1 frozen banana, thawed
- spoonful hazelnut butter
- pinch of cinnamon
- splosh of milk
- dollop of yoghurt
