Nourish porridge

This porridge recipe is a great way to add some extra calories, vitamins and minerals to your day. Any flavour of Nourish Drink works in the mix - just choose the one you prefer. When it comes to toppings, we recommend mixed seeds, fresh or stewed fruit, honey or jam.

Method

Warm the milk in a small, heavy bottom pan, stirring constantly.

When it's close to boiling, add the porridge oats and turn down the heat.

Wait until the porridge oats have absorbed all the milk, stirring every 1-2 minutes.

Now add the Nourish Drink and keep stirring on a low heat, until the drink is absorbed and the porridge has a smooth consistency.

Serve the porridge with your preferred topping or on its own.

100g porridge oats

200ml full-fat milk

175ml Nourish Drink (Vanilla, Chocolate, Raspberry or Mango)

Toppings of your choice
