Our Nourish Afternoon Tea with Maggie’s

It was our great pleasure to visit Maggie’s West London on May 5 to share a Nourish Afternoon Tea as part of the charity’s Kitchen Table Day.

We joined guests including Rani Shukla, a regular visitor to the centre, and former rugby international Will Carling.

At the same time, hundreds of Maggie’s supporters nationwide were gathering with family, friends and colleagues around their own kitchen tables and at work. The aim was to raise funds for the incredible work that Maggie’s does in the beautiful surroundings of its purpose-built centres, supporting those affected by cancer and their families.

A kitchen table is at the heart of every Maggie’s Centre. It’s a place to chat with others, to relax and read, or simply to sit with a cup of tea. Like us here at Nourish, the team at Maggie’s believes that it’s when we gather around the table that we can support each other, share our highs and lows – and experience the pleasure and solace of eating together.
